On December 15, 2003 the Carolina Hurricanes made Peter the 11th coach in team history. The Hurricanes under Peter's leadership won the Stanley Cup in 2005. He is currently the Head Coach for the Washinghton Capitals after coaching the Flyers and Predators. Peter coached the Providence Bruins to the Calder Cup championship the first year he coached them in the 98/99 season. His second year as the Bruins coach he led them to the semi-finals. |


Peter
Laviolette has been a head coach in the NHL now for three
seasons. He was the bench boss for the New York Islanders for
the 01/02 & 02/03 seasons leading the the team both
seasons to the first round of the playoffs.
